Ophelia's fleece shows her ancestry better than any other alpaca at the ranch. Her grand sire CL9 Altair's grandparents are both Suri and Ophelia's fleece reflects the shimmer so prevalent in Suri fiber. She carries PPPeruvian Yupanqyui and PPPeruvian Kilya genes on her sire's side and PPPeruvian Royal Fawn on her dam's side. Ophelia is solid beige with the typey Accoyo short muzzle.
She is an excellent mom to her first cria born June 2, 2010, a male sired by ALR's Cassini, who is a light brown Peruvian Hemingway grandson
She sells with a free rebreeding to any of our herd sires. |
