Chaska means Venus - befitting name for this long-legged (22 lbs at birth) full Peruvian beauty. Her coloring is just like her sire's, Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Sapa, light fawn face and medium fawn blanket. We combined Chaska's fleece with the white fleece of Cass, resulting in a light heathered fawn yarn that sold quickly. Chaska is ready to be bred this spring. You may select any one of our herd sires. While her sire Inti has many ribbons to show off, his progeny have won more: Inti had 4 Reserve Color Champion progeny at the 2007 Monterey Pronk: Reserve in Fawn Male (yearling), Reserve in Light Female (juvenile), Reserve in Light Male (2 yr old!). Fleece Reserve in Light (Age A) and Inti won 2nd Place in Get of Sire right behind Elite Maximus! Inti-Sapa's Sunrise won Fawn Color Champion in fleece at the 2006 AOBA Fiber to Fashion show and at the 2006 AlpacaFest West Fleece show! Two of Inti's female cria sold at 2008 AOBA Nationals for $21,000 and $13,000, respectively.
